G95 is a free open source Fortran 95 compiler. It implements the Fortran 95 Standard, some parts of the Fortran 2003 Standard and a few extensions. In addition, G95 can compile code to the F Programming Language subset.
The last stable version of G95, version 0.93, was released in October, 2012. In addition, a fork of the G95 source in 2003 provided the starting point for what is now known as GFortran, the GNU Fortran Compiler.
