Store Return Policy

The Fortran Company is committed to responsible handling and service of orders from our customers.

Compiler and software returns (excluding Fortran Tools, see below): This policy covers both packaged software and electronic downloads.
The Fortran Company is a reseller of quality software from the best software vendors in the industry. We abide by the return policies of these vendors. Since this information varies by vendor and is subject to change, it is best to inquire about return policies at info@fortran.com. In general, if the product is undamaged and is returned in a reasonable period of time (typically 30-60 days) the customer is entitled to a refund for the price of the product. But again, we will ONLY respect software returns that are approved and fall within the guidelines of the respective vendor. The Fortran Company will NOT refund any shipping and handling fees. Return shipment is the responsibility of the user.

Fortran Tools: The Fortran Company will refund the sales price and applicable taxes if, for any reason, you are unsatisfied or unable to install this product. The Fortran Company will NOT refund any shipping and handling fees.

Hardcopy Books: Books may be returned at the customer’s expense. The book must be returned in undamaged, unmarked, and untattered condition. Under these conditions, the sale price of the book and applicable taxes will be refunded to the user. The Fortran Company will NOT refund any shipping and handling fees. Return shipment is the responsibility of the user.

Electronic Books: Are non-refundable. Electronic book sales are final once the product is sent via email. If the user contacts us prior to electronic distribution, we will refund the book price and applicable taxes. If for some reason it is impossible to send the electronic book to the customer (email issues or internet connectivity issues), we will refund the book price and applicable taxes.
